Here are a few pictures of our wonderful first Christmas as a married couple.We were so lucky to get to see both of our families for this holiday which was such a blessing- thank goodness my parents are willing to travel to come see us! (and thank goodness Matt's parents live so close!
Matt and I bought this dining room set way before we were married because we loved it and it was a great bargain. Hard to believe, but Christmas Eve dinner was our first official meal on it! Thanks to my Dad for the beautiful arrangement he sent us- it was gorgeous and such a great centerpiece for dinner.
As one of my (favorite) Christmas gifts, my mom re-did our linen closet for us. I know this may sound silly, but if you could see how pretty it is in person and how amazing it smells when you open it, you would completely understand. She is a master at the art of interior decorating and linen closets have definitely become her forte :)
This was another one of our favorites. Matt's parents got us this great TV stand for our family room. It looks perfect in the room and we love it.
My Dad is known for cleverly wrapping/disguising gifts around this time of year. We opened a box and inside was a piece of fake grass, a small white dog, and a plastic fence- he had sent us money to fence in our back yard! Can you tell we were a little bit spoiled this year?Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a great end to 2007. Be back in 2008!
