Pin me

I'm the latest to jump on the Pinterest band wagon. It's true. And I really love it. Considering I'm constantly saving pictures I see online in folders for home decor, gift ideas, things for the monkey, etc. this online repository is perfect for an inspiration hoarder like myself.

Behold a few of my favorites from this week.

I don't know that I could pull this dress off, but it's super cute. Turns out short dresses aren't ideal for bending down and picking up children.

I'm seriously craving horizontal stripes for when I'm no longer pregnant. Image from tumblr.

Gorgeous.

This little girl's room which is now serving as the color inspiration for Madelyn's big girl room. Minus the pink carpet. Does that go without saying? (From House of Turquoise.)

This kitchen redo from Southern Living.

I love so much about this photo. The under-sink baskets, the shade, the white. Love.

Refurbished Perfection

Feast your eyes on this gorgeousness. And no I'm not talking about Keri Russell's perfect hair though that is the first thing that struck me about these photos.

Check out her Brooklyn Brownstone. She and her contractor hubby completely redid the entire thing using mostly refurbished and sustainable materials. It's stunning. Girl knows how to decorate, and having a hubby who knows how to build stuff doesn't hurt either. I love the neutral palette and soft textures. And I really need that tufted ottoman for my living room.

And while we're on the subject, I also really love her worn jeans and rolled up oxford. She looks so "Oh I just came back from the farmer's market and didn't expect you" yet in a way that doesn't make you hate how stunning she is.

Call me, Keri. We can talk furnishings and hair products. I'll bring the wine.

Bragging Rights

You won't be hearing much from me this week because I'll be here. My very kind boss (with excellent taste-obviously) has picked this location for our annual leadership team offsite. Yes it's directly on the beach in California. And yes, the entire thing looks EXACTLY like the beach house from Something's Gotta Give. Really, I'm picking my jaw up off the floor at every turn.

It is beach chic at it's absolute best.
Truth be told, I've been running around like a shopping addict at an outlet mall since I got here taking pictures of everything on my phone because I FORGOT MY CAMERA. So lame.

Lately I find myself reading this every.single.day. It's a much needed reminder.
